STATEMENT OF FAITH

 

WE BELIEVE THEREFORE CONFESS:

 

•  There is one God, eternally existent in three persons:  Father, Son and Holy Spirit as confessed in the Apostles Creed.  We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His atoning death, in His resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in his personal return to the earth to reign in power and glory.

 

• In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life and to perform good works.   We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.  We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

 

•  We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God, profitable for guidance, reproof and training in righteousness and especially applicable in all matters pertaining to this ministry.

 

• Humankind is created in the image of God but separated from God by the nature of sin. Therefore, without Jesus we are eternally separated from God and cannot inherently have a relationship with God.  Salvation is received only through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Genesis 1:26;  1 Timothy 2:5

 

• Salvation of the lost and sinful man and regeneration of the soul by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential in order to live a holy life and to witness, as a disciple of Christ, the saving grace and love of God to a lost and dying world.

 

• God's gift of salvation is free to all humankind. A personal relationship with God through salvation provided by Jesus Christ's atoning death is available to all who will receive. Confession of sin and belief in the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ, allows one to spend eternity with God. Ephesians 2:8,9;  Romans 5:1;  Romans 3:24

 

• Divine healing is presently active and available through Jesus, who is the Divine Healer. Christ gives abundant life and His healing extends to the physical, as well as the mental, emotional and spiritual domains of life. Luke 9:11;  Matthew 9:35;  Acts 10:38;  Matthew 10:1
